Eric Genuis, Composer, Returns

Chapel Hill, NC – American Legion Post 6 welcomes the return of internationally acclaimed composer, pianist, philanthropist Eric Genuis and ensemble, 11 February 2022, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm at our new American Legion Home located at 3700 NC 54 W Chapel Hill, NC 27516.

Master pianist, composer, and world renown performer, Eric Genuis has been performing all over the world since his debut in front of an audience of 15,000 in Krakow, Poland in 1997.

In addition to composing his own beautiful and inspiration music, Eric Genuis has composed scores for movies, played a part in movies, and most dear to his heart is his charity called “CONCERTS FOR HOPE” (see EricGenuis.com).

Through this charity, Eric has performed and provided inspirational talks at thousands of prisons, drug rehabilitation centers and veteran centers. The life-changing and positive impact Eric has had on his audiences is documented at his website EricGenuis.com.

Seating is limited. Please come to enjoy great music, inspiring stories of Eric’s visits to the “forgotten” and “underserved” and to support his charity.

Refreshments and light food/snacks are available starting at 5:45pm when socializing will begin in the Club Room prior to the performance in the Meeting Room.

If you are a veteran seeking other veterans in the area to serve our community, The American Legion is the nation’s largest veterans organization and was founded in 1919 with four pillars of service: Veterans care and rehabilitation, youth programs, Americanism, and national security. Legionnaires work for the betterment of their communities through over 12,000 local posts across the nation.

The new American Legion Post No. 6 site is located near White Cross at 3700 NC 54 West in Orange County.  It is one of the newest American LegionPosts in the country, with a custom designed 15,600 sf building and sits high on a hill on a beautiful bucolic 126 acres with pasture land and pond.
