This post was planned and built with YOU in mind! From WWII to current conflict Veterans we are home to ALL, including their family members too. As we set out to provide a place for our present and future Brothers and Sisters in Arms we tried to think of it all. Previously served, Currently serving, family members of ones who have or are currently serving we welcome you all!
Here at Post 6 we not only assist our Veterans but we extended our hand to their families by offering programs like our Sons of American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary as well as American Legion Riders. We are also ready to help students with Boys and Girls State, scholarships, baseball, and scouting. There are many more programs of the American Legion that serve veterans and our communities.
After more than 65 years, we have upgraded and improved our facilities to a new site. We are now located at 3700 NC Highway 54 W, Chapel Hill, NC 27516.
Our members are full of dedication and tenacity when it comes to offerings for you and our community! If you are a veteran and you want to continue your service to your country, we are looking for you. Sign up. Then you can proudly say, “I AM THE AMERICAN LEGION.”
Our mission is to help veterans.
Join us at our Monthly Membership meetings the Second Tuesday of Every month. We gather at 5:30 pm for socializing, dine at 6:30pm, and our Post meeting starts at 7:30pm.
