Carolina Veterans Feed Homeless

Our local Carolina Veterans Organization (CVO) has descended upon our post and kitchen in force to cook a meal to feed the homeless and some are often veterans in transition!

CVO Vets are preparing a spaghetti dinner for about 100 homeless men and women at the Durham Rescue Mission.

Our Carolina Vets are having a fun time cooking, socializing, and listening to great music on Pandora.  This is what makes a veteran’s group flourish. They renew the bond that they all shared serving on active duty.  They know that there is an urgent need to help others.

We are proud of the Carolina Veterans Organization at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  If you are a student veteran and not yet a member, there is room for you!  Give them a shout.
