After 61 years on Legion Road, Chapel Hill Post 6 is pulling up stakes and relocating nearby. It was a tough decision and a project that was over five years in planning. We are excited and look at our changes as a necessary part of our post’s growth and continuing legacy to the community.

We have entered our 98th year, as we were formed in October 28, 1919. That is right. We gathered at a convention in Raleigh earlier that year to form a North Carolina Department of the American Legion.
