For non-veterans, a son of an American Legionnaire can join The Sons of the American Legion. Additionally, there are memberships in the American Legion Auxiliary. See their page.
I’m an 84 year old veteran who just relocated to Saxapahaw from Gettysburg, PA, to live closer to my daughter. She sent in my application and dues over the winter, but we haven’t heard anything specifically from the post. Do you have a paper newsletter? Is there a way other than Facebook where I can learn about upcoming events? Also, please confirm that you received my application.
