Marathon Jam a Success

Did you stop by and join in on the fun and music of the Marathon Jam? Many, many musicians joined together to sing and play music for twelve non-stop hours! The initial report is that over $11,000 was raised for Fisher House this year. More will continue to come in and we expect the number to grow.

Chapel Hill is again hosting the site for the 11th Annual Marathon Jam is a national day of service by musicians to benefit the Fort Bragg Fisher House. Fisher House is “a home away from home for wounded soldiers and their families.” How does the Jam work? The Chapel Hill Jam is this Saturday, February 22, 2014, from One PM to One AM.

John Santa and his musicians have been working now for 12 years to make a difference. For the last five years they have been raising money for the Fisher House in Ft. Bragg. Your post has been there supporting this event for the last six years.
