Army Air Force History Event – May 17th

Two World War II era pilots will speak on Thursday, May 17th, at 7:30 p.m. at The Gathering Place at Fearrington Village.  This is a presentation of The Veterans of Fearrington.

Speakers are Harvey Alexander, Army Air Force, Tuskegee Airman and B-25 pilot,  and Colonel Phil Newman, Army Air Force, a B-17 Flying Fortress pilot with 50 bombing missions over Europe.  Hear their story of bombing missions and the part Tuskegee Airmen and other units played providing fighter cover.  Download announcement for  Veterans of Fearrington event.
