American Legion NC Convention – 2013

The 2013 American Legion Department of North Carolina Convention will run from Wednesday, June 12 to Saturday, June 15. We have five delegates going from our post and all members are invited to attend any event of the convention.

Convention highlights include:

Friday

• 9 a.m. – Division III Caucus – Reports review
• 9:30 a.m. – Department Executive Committee Meets – Membership Awards presented
• 12 noon – Flag Raising Ceremony
• 1 – 5 p.m. – Convention General Session – General Awards presented (post gets award)
• 5 p.m. – Division III Caucus – Election of Division Commanders

Saturday

• 7:30 a.m. – Go-Getters Breakfast
• 9 a.m. – General Session reconvenes
• 1 p.m. – General Session reconvenes, elections
