NC Dept. News – The Legionnaire

Did you know that the Department of North Carolina is publishing a monthly newsletter? It has current information and announcements all in one place.

There are announcements and news from Posts throughout the state–including ours. There are lots of pictures of other Post’s activities and programs. Use it to develop ideas as you consider things you can recommend for our Post.

Use it as a reminder of upcoming programs that have due dates post action and submitting the post for awards. It is also helpful for Post committees as they plan programs.

We’ve placed a link to current and recent editions on our Post website under “News.” When you click on the link you are redirected to the Department’s site and from there you can visit other areas on the Department site for additional information.

Another important link is myLegion.org. You can sign up for access with just your name and member number (on your member card). There is a wealth of information on the myLegion.org site.

Post’s are permitted and encouraged to provide news and photos of Post events for publication in The Legionnaire. Our Post’s new home and its dedication is highlighted in the February 2020 edition.
