Vietnam Veterans Day – March 29th

There will be a Remembrance Ceremony and a Commemoration of the nationally recognized Vietnam Veterans Day, on Monday, 29 March, at 1200 hours.

 

A reading of the names of fallen Vietnam Veterans and an MIA (all from Durham County} will be held at the Vietnam Veterans Living Memorial located behind the Edison Johnson Recreation Center on Murray Avenue in Durham.

 

The local Chapter of the DAR will be in attendance and plan to serve a special cake designed for the day. There will also be a display honoring the fallen and MIA.

 

Please observe local protocols for a safe gathering outdoors (masks, distancing, etc.
