Veterans’ Night of Honor – Nov 2nd

Area veterans are invited to join other veterans for the 4th Annual Veterans Night of Honor to be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at The Lamb’s Chapel Airport Campus, Burlington. This year’s event will honor all veterans, with special recognition of those who served during the Vietnam Era.

The event sponsors are desperately seeking all Vietnam Era Veterans–those who served at any time between November 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975–all branches and all assignments.  Sponsors want to throw a “Welcome Home Party” that these veterans deserved, but were not given so long ago. Each Vietnam Era veteran will be presented with a Commemorative Service Medallion pin.

For this honor, registrations must be received before October 15th, 2019.

If you served during this time period please mark “yes” on your registration and if you know other veterans from this era please invite them to participate. No one has to share their story, just come and be honored by our youngest generations.

Doors will open at 4:30 pm and dinner will be served at 5:00 pm followed by the program at 7:00 pm. Over 100 young people from our community are preparing a patriotic concert and program unlike any you have seen.

There will music and pageantry, tributes and old hymns plus special treats for all registered veterans. Colonel Norm McDaniel, USAF Retired, one of the longest held prisoners of war in Vietnam, will be celebrating with us that evening. Please tell all of your friends and family to join us for an evening of celebration and remembrance.

Please register early as seats for dinner are limited to 800 and 2,000 for the program. You may register on line by sending an email to [email protected] or by completing the enclosed form and dropping it by the Welcome Desk at The Lamb’s Chapel. Registrations may also be mailed to: Veterans Night of Honor 2016 Aramanache Drive, Burlington, NC 27215. Once registrations are received your tickets and more information will be mailed to you in October.
