Memorial Day Activities
Memorial Day is fast approaching. We are going to spend the next two weeks sprucing up the post and getting ready for our guests. Are you ready to chip in and help?
Our website has a schedule of the weekend events. That’s right, “weekend events.” We start early by decorating the Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery with flags on Saturday, May 25th, at 7 a.m. This is an annual event hosted by the Chapel Hill Veterans of Foreign Wars.
A special memorial service is held at 8 a.m. and a no-host breakfast follows for veterans.
