Butner Veterans Stand Down

Our veterans need a safe harbor where they can seek help.  A stand down gives them that opportunity.  Everyone just takes a break from the turmoil around them and then watches, listens, and learns from others.

The North Carolina National Guard is hosting a Veterans’ Stand Down and Military Resource Fair in September.  It will be  at the Butner National Guard Armory on Saturday, September 17th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The Butner Armory is located at 205 Central Ave, Butner.

Do you know of a veteran in crisis that needs help with the VA, their transition, or with something that seems overwhelming?  Maybe they are looking for a job or just someone to talk with.  Share this information.  Help them.
