Post Wins Legion Website Award

The American Legion, Department of North Carolina, announced today that Chapel Hill Post 6 was selected as the American Legion, Department of North Carolina, Post Website Award 2013, 2nd Place.

The award and plaque will be presented on Friday, June 14th, 2013, during the opening of the 2013 Annual State Convention at the North Raleigh Hilton. Lee Heavlin, post webmaster, will receive the award.

We are proud of this accomplishment and recognition of our efforts to improve public awareness of the American Legion and its members in the Chapel Hill Community. Our site has a lot of visitors seeking information on our post, our procedures, our facilities, and the American Legion and Legion programs.. We consistently record nearly 500 visits per week, as reported by Statcounter.com.
