Al Hackney Passes

Alvin “Al” Braxton Hackney passed away on Saturday, July 10th, 2015.  He was 83.

Al Hackney served for many years as Post Commander American Post 6 Commander.

The family will receive visitors at 2:00 p.m., July 26th, at Farrington Road Baptist Church, Farrington Road, Chapel Hill, NC.  A service to honor him, share stories and celebrate his life will be at the same location at 3:00 p.m.  His obituary will appear soon in the Herald-Sun.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Farrington Road Baptist Church.

All members are encouraged to attend the memorial service.
